Jacquie Ridge

Careers Adviser

Originally from Northern Ireland I came to England to study at Loughborough University. I then moved to Edinburgh to study for the Diploma in Careers Guidance. I have over 16 years of careers guidance experience, working as a careers adviser in London for 4 years before venturing to Berkshire where I remained for 8 years working as a careers adviser in schools and FE Colleges. I took a break to have children and on my return worked in the career department of a university and then in accounts before coming to work with Inspiring Futures in 2010. I currently have one child at university, one studying for AS Levels and the other studying for GCSE’s, so I am aware of many of the issues that young people face in different stages of their education.
